Mota separates public listing images from private evidence used for verification.
What riders can see
Your car photo and profile photograph may appear publicly once your listing is approved and active.
What remains private
Your driver’s licence, vehicle registration and proof of address are stored privately. Only you and authorised Mota reviewers can access them. Document views are recorded.
Identity verification
Your NIN and live selfie are sent securely to an approved verification provider. Mota stores the vNIN token and verification result only. The raw NIN and selfie are not stored by Mota.
Deletion
You can request deletion or use the driver dashboard to remove your listing and uploaded documents, subject to limited legal retention requirements.
